Hucks Hideaway

Hucks Hideaway is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath lake home on Fawn Lake with 100 feet of boulder lined frontage. This 20 acre lake is part of the Big Saint Germain chain of lakes offering access to over 1600 acres of freshwater. There is lots of room for boating, kayaking, tubing, skiing and great fishing. A short boat ride through the river channel leads you out to the island that has a very popular sand bar for swimming and relaxing in the sun.

The open concept living room features a wood pellet fireplace, smart tv and a large bay window over looking the natural beauty of the woods with lots of wildlife.

The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, towels and all necessary dishes and cooking utensils. The dining table offers seating for 6 plus extra seating is available at the island.

There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor with 1 king in the master suite and 1 queen size bed in each the other 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan. Bed linens are provided.

The home has 3 full bathrooms with 2 on the first floor and 1 on the lower level. Each bathroom has 4 sets of towels provided. We do also provide a starter supply of paper products and soap. There is a washer and dryer down in the lower level for your use.

When you take the stairs down to the lower level rec room you will find it fully carpeted with a smart tv, sleeper sofa and extra seating. There is also an extra table and chairs for playing games. This floor also has a 4th bedroom with a new log bunk bed, twin over full.

The property offers lots of quiet and privacy. You are on 1 full acre of land and near many hiking, biking and atv/utv trails. The patio door in the dining area flows seamlessly out to your large private deck. There is lots of room for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee, evening sunsets or dining surrounded by nature. There is a patio table and charcoal grill provided.

The stairs off the deck lead down to your own private pier. There is also a campfire pit with a grassy seating area by the lake, a fish cleaning area with electricity and a lakeside storage shed for your fishing gear. We do provide 2 kayaks for your use while staying with us. We also have many boat rentals available by request.

Pets are allowed at the home, but must be supervised at all times and cleaned up after. Pet charge is $25 per night or $150 per week per pet.

We ask that you please Do Not Smoke inside the home. Fireworks are also not allowed.

Summer rentals are Sunday to Sunday.
